QA Automation Engineer
Job Summary
To support a growing team, the full-time QA Automation Engineer will analyze existing manual test scripts, develop and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright, and ensure quality delivery in a remote work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze existing test cases and scripts to understand business workflows and application functionality
- Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright with TypeScript or JavaScript
- Identify suitable test scenarios for automation and prioritize them based on business criticality and regression coverage
Required Qualifications
- 5-8 years of overall experience in software quality assurance and testing
- Strong hands-on experience in Playwright automation using TypeScript or JavaScript
- Experience in automating web-based applications, preferably built using Angular
- Strong understanding of automation framework design and best practices
- Experience converting manual test cases into automated scripts
