QA Engineer
Job Summary
To ensure high-quality software delivery, the contract QA Engineer will write and maintain UI and API tests, perform database testing, and execute integration and end-to-end testing in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Write and maintain UI and API tests using Playwright and TypeScript, employing Page Objects
- Conduct API testing with Postman or Playwright's request client, verifying status codes and error handling
- Execute database testing by writing SQL queries to ensure accurate data storage and retrieval
Required qualifications
- Proficiency in Playwright and TypeScript for automation testing
- Experience with API testing and familiarity with tools like Postman
- Strong knowledge of SQL, particularly with Postgres and Snowflake
- Understanding of CI/CD processes and experience with GitHub Actions
- Basic knowledge of AWS services, including Lambda and CloudWatch
