QA Engineer
Job Summary
Working remotely, the full-time QA Engineer will shape the testing strategy and own the automation processes to ensure high quality in a fast-paced agentic development environment.
Key responsibilities
- Shape quality by collaborating with product and engineering on acceptance criteria and testability before code is written
- Design and maintain the automated QA workflow, ensuring reliability and efficiency as volume increases
- Review AI-generated tests for correctness and probe beyond written criteria to identify edge cases and potential issues
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in QA, SDET, or software engineering with a focus on quality
- 3-5 years of hands-on experience with Playwright automation using TypeScript or JavaScript
- Experience in shaping QA practices within a product team, regardless of the stage of development
- Familiarity with AI coding assistants and their application in delivery workflows
- Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and test strategy, including risk-based planning
