QA Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the QA Engineer will own quality assurance processes, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and manage AI-driven test agents to ensure high-quality production deployments.

Key responsibilities

• Own quality for specific product areas by actively participating in cross-functional teams and focusing testing efforts on critical components
• Review requirements early in the development process to identify ambiguities and ensure comprehensive test coverage
• Direct and maintain AI-driven test agents, ensuring their reliability and effectiveness while conducting exploratory testing to uncover issues beyond automated scripts

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (preferred)
• Experience creating and managing testing processes utilizing AI tools
• Proficiency in building and maintaining automated UI and API tests using modern frameworks, such as Playwright
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and managing test environments, including Docker
• Strong skills in testing REST APIs, writing SQL queries, and utilizing debugging tools
