QA Engineer
Job Summary
To ensure application reliability and product quality, the full-time remote QA Engineer will perform software quality assurance, database testing, API testing, and data validation while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Key responsibilities
- Analyze business requirements and develop comprehensive test scenarios and test cases
- Perform functional, regression, integration, database, and API testing to ensure application quality
- Identify, document, track, and manage defects throughout the software testing lifecycle
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in software quality assurance
- Strong experience with database testing, SQL queries, API testing, and data validation
- Good working knowledge of JIRA/Xray and test management processes
- Exposure to ETL testing, data integration, and cloud-based data workflows
- Understanding of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
