QA Engineering Lead
Job Summary
To raise the bar for quality across web, mobile, and desktop products, the full-time QA Engineering Lead will build scalable test automation, establish quality metrics, and influence engineering decisions while working remotely or from Cyprus.
Key responsibilities
- Own the quality engineering strategy and build systems that facilitate effective test creation and reliability
- Develop and enhance automation platforms, frameworks, and standards across engineering teams
- Coach QA/SDET engineers and developers, fostering a culture of quality without formal authority
Required qualifications
- Proven experience transforming testing practices to ensure automated tests reliably gate releases
- Hands-on experience with cross-platform automation for web, mobile, and desktop applications
- Established metrics for quality and CI/CD, including tracking trends and validating test effectiveness
- Experience with AI-assisted coding and test generation tools, with a critical perspective on their efficacy
- Demonstrated ability to mentor and grow engineers in automation practices without direct authority
