QA Functional Analyst
Job Summary
To support a temporary project, the full-time QA Functional Analyst will analyze requirements, design and execute tests, and validate business rules across multiple application layers while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Analyze requirements and acceptance criteria to identify scenarios, risks, and coverage gaps
- Design and execute functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end tests
- Validate business rules and workflows across frontend, backend, and database layers
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
- 3+ years of professional experience in Functional Quality Assurance within complex or enterprise applications
- Strong experience with functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing
- Intermediate SQL skills, including joins, aggregations, subqueries, and data validation
- Experience validating data consistency and transaction integrity across application layers
