QA Lead Engineer
Job Summary
To drive quality initiatives and establish a culture of continuous testing, the full-time remote QA Lead Engineer will define and execute the overall quality assurance strategy across multiple products and platforms while leading automation adoption and mentoring QA engineers.
Key responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end QA strategy, including test planning, automation, performance, and release validation
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable automation frameworks for web, mobile, and backend systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product requirements are testable and aligned with quality objectives
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical discipline
- 6-10 years of experience in software testing, including at least 3 years in a QA Lead or similar leadership role
- Strong hands-on experience with automation frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright)
- Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Java, Python, or JavaScript
- Experience integrating test automation into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI)
