QA Performance Claims Specialist

Job Summary

Supporting QVC and HSN, the full-time remote QA Performance Claims Specialist will evaluate product performance claims, ensuring compliance with industry standards while providing technical guidance and training to stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Review and assess proposed product performance claims against regulatory and company requirements
• Validate claimed product features by analyzing technical substantiation such as clinical studies and testing reports
• Partner with Legal to ensure approved claims comply with FTC requirements and provide training to resolve recurring claim issues

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in quality or technical environments with a focus on product claims and customer experience
• Strong experience in reviewing and interpreting complex technical documents and clinical studies
• Deep knowledge of performance claim substantiation methods and regulatory requirements including FTC and FDA
• Technical certification or relevant degree preferred, ideally in the physical or natural sciences
• Background in the beauty industry is preferred
