QA Portfolio Manager
Job Summary
Owning the quality assurance strategy and execution for a diverse portfolio, the remote contract QA Portfolio Manager will manage external QA vendors, ensure adherence to quality standards, and perform hands-on testing when necessary.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement QA strategy and standards tailored to each title's genre and platform
- Oversee the management of external QA vendors, including onboarding and tracking vendor engagements
- Perform hands-on testing, verify bug fixes, and provide actionable feedback to developer teams
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in QA leadership or vendor management within the video game industry
- Strong knowledge of FQA, CQA, and LQA testing methodologies and platform certification requirements
- Proven ability to create and refine test plans for various game genres and modes
- Experience managing QA across multiple titles and coordinating with external studios
- Proficiency with bug-tracking and test-management tools, as well as project tracking software
