QA/QC Specialist, Data Analytics
Job Summary
To support enterprise data and reporting initiatives in a municipal transportation environment, the contract QA/QC Specialist, Data Analytics will ensure data accuracy and reliability while collaborating with cross-functional teams, working remotely during standard business hours.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute QA/QC strategies, test plans, and data validation procedures to ensure data quality
- Validate ETL/ELT pipelines and BI reports using SQL to verify data accuracy and support user acceptance testing
- Identify data anomalies and collaborate with teams to resolve data quality issues and establish quality controls
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience in quality assurance, software testing, and data validation
- Strong SQL proficiency for data validation and troubleshooting
- Hands-on experience creating test plans, test cases, and QA/QC documentation
- Experience testing data-intensive applications and BI reporting solutions
