QA Team Lead
Job Summary
Leading day-to-day quality execution for a delivery team, the full-time QA Team Lead will manage sprint-level test planning, facilitate test design, and ensure automation alignment in a hybrid role requiring onsite presence in Pittston, PA at least once every other month.
Key responsibilities
- Lead sprint-level test planning, execution, and release readiness for an assigned scrum or product team
- Coordinate manual and automated testing across various flows and drive defects to resolution
- Mentor QA engineers on test design and contribute to continuous improvement in QA processes
Required qualifications
- 5+ years in software QA with ownership of testing for complex features and releases
- Strong test design skills including positive, negative, boundary, and integration scenarios
- Working knowledge of automation concepts and collaboration with automation engineers (Playwright preferred)
- Experience in Agile delivery teams and tools (Azure DevOps preferred)
- Ability to lead without authority and communicate risk clearly
