QC Credit Auditor
Job Summary
Detail-oriented and analytical, the fully remote QC Credit Auditor will audit mortgage loan files for compliance with regulations and standards, ensuring quality and customer satisfaction while meeting daily production quotas.
Key responsibilities
- Audit mortgage loan files for compliance with state and federal regulations, agency underwriting requirements, and client specifications
- Complete and submit Loan Audit Reports clearly and professionally, incorporating feedback as necessary
- Collaborate with the Credit Audit Manager to achieve audit goals and meet Key Performance Measures
Required qualifications
- Associate's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field
- 10+ years of mortgage origination underwriting experience, including familiarity with FNMA, Freddie Mac, VA, FHA, and USDA guidelines
- Proven knowledge of mortgage loan fraud detection and prevention policies
- Strong understanding of current residential mortgage compliance requirements, including RESPA, TILA, and Dodd/Frank
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and Excel
