QE Automation Engineer
Job Summary
To support the development of automated testing capabilities, the full-time QE Automation Engineer will design and implement scalable automation frameworks using Playwright and TypeScript, collaborating with cross-functional teams in a hybrid work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Design and implement automated testing for functional, API, integration, regression, and end-to-end scenarios
- Build and maintain scalable automated frameworks and scripts, integrating them into CI/CD pipelines
- Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand requirements and troubleshoot issues
Required qualifications
- 5-7+ years of experience as a QA or QE engineer with hands-on test-automation experience
- Proficiency in writing and debugging automated test scripts using Playwright with TypeScript
- Strong understanding of automation framework architecture and quality-engineering best practices
- Experience with API testing tools such as Postman and Swagger
- Familiarity with version control systems including GitHub and Jira for project tracking
