QE Automation Engineer
Job Summary
Experienced QE Automation Engineers will find a full-time remote opportunity focused on designing and building automated test suites using Playwright and TypeScript, collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance software quality and release processes.
Key responsibilities:
- Design and implement automated coverage for functional, API, integration, regression, and end-to-end scenarios
- Develop and maintain scalable automated frameworks and scripts while integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines
- Collaborate with developers and product teams to troubleshoot issues and convert manual test cases into automated coverage
Required qualifications:
- 5-7+ years of experience as a QA or QE engineer with hands-on test automation experience
- Proficiency in writing and debugging automated test scripts using Playwright with TypeScript
- Strong understanding of automation framework architecture and test design patterns
- Experience with API testing tools such as Postman and Swagger
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools like Jira for project tracking
