QE Automation Engineer
Job Summary
To support a growing automation initiative, the full-time QE Automation Engineer will design and implement automated testing frameworks using Playwright and TypeScript, collaborating with cross-functional teams in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Design and implement automated coverage for functional, API, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing scenarios
- Build and maintain scalable automated frameworks and scripts, integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines
- Collaborate with developers and product teams to understand requirements and troubleshoot issues effectively
Required qualifications
- 5-7+ years of experience as a QA or QE engineer with hands-on test automation expertise
- Proficiency in writing and debugging automated test scripts using Playwright with TypeScript
- Strong understanding of automation framework architecture and test design patterns
- Experience with API testing tools such as Postman and Swagger
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools like Jira for project tracking
