QE Automation Lead
Job Summary
Leading the automation strategy and framework development, the full-time QE Automation Lead will mentor engineers and partner with cross-functional teams to transition from manual to automated testing in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Own the automation strategy and technical direction across multiple QE teams and products
- Design and govern scalable automation frameworks using Playwright with TypeScript
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and define actionable quality metrics
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in software quality engineering, with at least three years in automation leadership
- Advanced hands-on experience with Playwright and TypeScript for automation
- Proven success in building scalable automation frameworks across various testing layers
- Strong knowledge of software architecture, object-oriented programming, and CI/CD integration
- Experience in defining quality KPIs and using metrics for decision-making and improvement
