Qualitative Research Specialist

Job Summary

To support various research initiatives, the full-time Qualitative Research Specialist will conduct qualitative research projects, implement survey instruments, and draft reports for clients while working in a hybrid environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead qualitative research projects including administering surveys, focus groups, and interviews
• Independently draft reports on best practices in postsecondary education and workforce development
• Perform quality control checks on team-generated reports and manage data coding and analysis

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, social sciences, or a related area
• One year of experience in student success research or two years in another social science or policy area
• Three years of experience in data reporting, including written analysis and presentations
• Experience with qualitative analytical tools such as MAXQDA or Atlas.ti
• Strong MS Office skills, particularly in Excel for data management and reporting
