Quality Assurance Analyst

Job Summary

To support NASA's Luna/NMC platform, the remote Quality Assurance Business Analyst III will provide application quality assurance and testing, including developing risk-based test plans, executing various testing methodologies, and managing defects end-to-end.

Key responsibilities:

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and cases with full coverage of critical functions
• Manage defects through documentation, classification, tracking, and retesting before closure
• Prepare release-readiness assessments and conduct post-release validation while producing monthly testing metrics

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) and a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in application quality assurance and testing
• Experience with Google Docker for containerized testing environments
• Proficiency in using GitHub for version control and accessing code repositories
• Familiarity with Google Cloud platform environments and software testing methodologies
• Experience with test management and defect tracking tools such as Jira
