Quality Assurance Analyst

Job Summary

As the primary QA resource for an agile application development team, the full-time Quality Assurance & Technical Documentation Analyst will develop and execute test plans, analyze requirements, track defects, and produce end-user documentation and training for federal client applications, with the flexibility to work remotely and occasional travel to client offices in DC.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute test plans for application releases, ensuring alignment with client quality standards
• Perform functional, integration, and regression testing, and facilitate user acceptance testing with end users
• Create user-facing documentation and training materials, including user guides and release notes

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Communications, Business, or a related field
• 4+ years of experience in software quality assurance, user acceptance testing, or technical writing
• Experience designing test plans and executing functional and regression testing
• Proven ability to produce user-facing documentation such as user guides and training materials
• Experience with defect-tracking tools like Jira or Azure DevOps
