Quality Assurance Automation Engineer
Job Summary
To enhance software quality and reduce manual testing reliance, the remote Quality Assurance Automation Engineer will design, implement, and maintain automated testing solutions while collaborating with Product, Engineering, and QA teams to develop effective test strategies.
Key responsibilities:
- Review Jira stories and business requirements to create comprehensive test plans and cases
- Design and maintain automated test scripts for web, API, and system testing, while expanding automation coverage
- Participate in Agile development activities, ensuring requirements are testable and validating end-to-end workflows
Required qualifications:
- 3-5+ years of Quality Assurance experience with a strong focus on test automation
- Intermediate level experience with SQL and database validation
- Hands-on experience with Playwright for test automation
- Experience with API testing using Postman
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, SDLC, and defect lifecycle
