Quality Assurance Engineer
Job Summary
Proactively solving problems, the full-time remote Quality Assurance Engineer will build test systems and processes to enhance quality standards, working closely with product teams to define test requirements and develop automation frameworks.
Key responsibilities
- Drive upstream quality by collaborating with Product and Software Engineering to define test requirements and acceptance criteria
- Architect and expand UI automation frameworks and design automated API test suites to validate critical workflows
- Monitor automated test runs and collaborate with engineering teams to address test execution issues and improve pipeline stability
Required qualifications
- B.S. in a related discipline or equivalent working experience
- 3+ years of experience with test automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright)
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages (Ruby and JavaScript preferred)
- Familiarity with project management tools (Jira, Confluence) and version control systems (Git, GitHub)
- Understanding of quality assurance methods and testing principles in software development environments
