Quality Assurance Engineer
Job Summary
Owning quality end-to-end for ThriveCart's e-commerce platform, the full-time Quality Assurance Engineer will develop test strategies, implement automation, and monitor production health while working remotely from Latin America.
Key responsibilities
- Own the quality strategy for features, including test planning, risk assessment, and documentation
- Write and maintain automated tests while ensuring fast and reliable CI/CD integration
- Monitor production features and respond to incidents with targeted regression testing and root cause analysis
Required qualifications
- Strong testing fundamentals including test strategy and risk-based prioritization
- Hands-on experience with Playwright for browser automation
- Proficiency in API testing using tools like Postman or REST clients
- Experience with CI/CD practices, preferably GitHub Actions
- Ability to communicate clearly through written bug reports and test plans
