Quality Assurance Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Engineer, the full-time remote role will design and execute comprehensive testing strategies across cloud backend, IoT communication, and embedded firmware, ensuring the platform's reliability and quality before production.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain test strategies for all platform components, including cloud backend and IoT devices
• Develop and execute functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end test suites while maintaining documentation of test coverage and results
• Collaborate with engineering teams to identify and track bugs, contributing to process improvements and quality advocacy throughout the development lifecycle

Required qualifications

• 3-5 years of QA engineering experience with a focus on end-to-end test strategy and execution
• Hands-on experience testing cloud-based systems, preferably with AWS
• Familiarity with IoT systems and embedded or firmware testing
• Experience building automated test frameworks and integrating them into CI/CD pipelines
• Strong SQL skills for data validation and backend testing
