Quality Assurance Engineer
Job Summary
Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Quality Assurance Engineer will design, implement, execute, and debug test cases and automated test scripts, while validating and documenting testing processes to ensure successful product releases.
Key responsibilities
- Review requirements and technical design documents to provide timely feedback and develop testing plans
- Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities within a cross-functional development team
- Identify, record, document, and track bugs while performing regular regression, exploratory, and system testing
Required qualifications
- 6+ years of professional experience in quality assurance or software testing
- Strong diagnostic skills and a technical background for creating testing scenarios from functional requirements
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio and writing SQL queries
- Familiarity with QA testing on ERP applications and automated testing tools
- Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language is a plus
