Quality Assurance Engineer
Job Summary
To support software development projects for a financial services client, the full-time remote Quality Assurance Engineer will design and execute test plans, perform various types of testing on web applications and APIs, and develop automated tests to enhance quality and efficiency across multiple concurrent projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, write, and execute manual test cases and test plans across multiple projects
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing on web applications and API/backend services
- Develop and maintain automated tests for high-value areas to improve coverage and speed
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in software quality assurance, including manual and automated testing
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies and the software development lifecycle
- Hands-on experience testing web applications and RESTful APIs
- Experience testing Windows desktop applications and validating enhancements
- Familiarity with at least one test automation framework or tool
