Quality Assurance Engineer
Job Summary
Owning test planning and execution, the full-time Quality Assurance Engineer will ensure the reliability and performance of APIs, SDKs, and web applications while building automated test suites and collaborating with engineering teams, working remotely within the U.S. or at the NYC headquarters.
Key responsibilities
- Manage test planning and execution for assigned product areas from requirements review to release sign-off
- Develop and maintain automated test suites and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines
- Document and track defects, collaborating with engineers to resolve issues effectively
Required qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in software QA or quality engineering, particularly with web applications and APIs
- Hands-on experience writing automated tests in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or similar languages
- Experience testing REST APIs and working within CI/CD pipelines
- Familiarity with testing audio, video, or real-time communication products is a plus
- Exposure to performance or load testing tools is advantageous
