Quality Assurance Engineering Technician
Job Summary
Supporting XBAT prototype ground and flight testing, the full-time Quality Assurance Engineering Technician will perform inspections, verify hardware quality, and collaborate with engineering teams to ensure compliance with defined requirements in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Perform in-process, final, pre-test, and post-test inspections of XBAT prototype hardware
- Inspect mechanical, electrical, structural, and electromechanical assemblies using appropriate measurement equipment
- Identify and document nonconformances while supporting root-cause investigations and corrective actions
Required qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in aerospace, defense, manufacturing, aviation, or a related technical field
- Experience supporting prototype development or flight testing
- Hands-on inspection, testing, or troubleshooting experience with complex aerospace hardware
- Ability to read engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions
