Job Summary
Leading a team of quality assurance professionals, the full-time remote Quality Assurance Manager will oversee pre-close and post-close quality assurance programs throughout the loan origination lifecycle, ensuring accurate and timely file reviews while identifying risks to maintain compliance and operational integrity.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of QA analysts to ensure effective pre-close and post-close loan reviews
- Oversee the execution of quality assurance reviews, maintaining accuracy and consistency in scoring and documentation
- Manage daily work queues and team capacity, addressing bottlenecks and service-level risks proactively
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in mortgage, consumer lending, or related financial services roles
- 3+ years of direct people management experience, including coaching and performance management
- Expertise in the end-to-end loan origination lifecycle with the ability to evaluate complete loan files
- Proven ability to interpret and apply policies, procedures, and regulations to complex scenarios
- Strong analytical skills with experience using operational metrics to drive improvements
