Quality Assurance Specialist
Job Summary
To support federal government initiatives, the full-time Quality Assurance Specialist will lead quality assurance activities, establish test frameworks, and oversee operational support for enterprise engineering systems at Sandia National Laboratories, with the option to work remotely.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish test plans and quality assurance frameworks for system upgrades and software integrations
- Coordinate functional, performance, and regression testing across engineering application releases
- Oversee operations & maintenance readiness and ensure compliance with security and operational guidelines
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Engineering; 5-10 years of experience in QA, test automation, or IT O&M management
- Experience in DOE, DoD, or federal enterprise IT environments with formal compliance testing
- Functional exposure to PTC ecosystem tools or adjacent ALM/DevOps platforms
- Experience with automated testing frameworks and scripting languages for test automation
- Proven ability to develop test strategies and communicate technical findings effectively
