Seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Tester for a full-time remote contract position, responsible for executing and maintaining software test plans, developing manual test scripts, and logging bugs while ensuring quality assurance throughout the testing process.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute software test plans, including functional, integration, regression, and UAT testing
- Create and maintain manual test scripts for user interface and system testing
- Log bugs and issues via an issue tracking tool, providing clear reporting on test plan results and progress
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of recent, relevant work experience
- Experience in Test Driven Development (TDD), Functional, Integration, Regression, and UAT Testing
- Proficiency in defect tracking and test result documentation
- Ability to manage change during the test process and perform verification testing in production
- Strong background in administering test control and statistics collection
