Quality Automation Engineer

Job Summary

To ensure the reliability and performance of enterprise applications, the full-time remote Quality Automation Engineer will design, develop, and maintain automated testing frameworks and code, integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines, and perform systems analysis to create effective validation strategies.

Key responsibilities:

• Design and develop automated test frameworks and libraries for UI, API, and integration testing
• Integrate automated test execution into CI/CD pipelines and manage quality gates for build/release readiness
• Produce defect reports and collaborate with developers to isolate root causes of failures

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent professional experience
• 3+ years of experience in designing and developing automated test solutions
• Proficiency in at least one modern programming/scripting language (e.g., Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python) and test automation frameworks/tools
• Experience with API testing (REST) and test data validation using SQL
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipeline tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps)
