Job Summary
Seeking a full-time remote Quality Control Auditor II, the position will focus on quality control audit re-underwriting review of closed loans, capturing loan data, commenting on deficiencies, and grading loans accordingly.
Key responsibilities
- Complete credit re-underwrites on loan files based on AUS findings or manual approvals
- Analyze property appraisals and borrower income sources to ensure compliance with eligibility requirements
- Identify potential misrepresentation and fraud, and comment on loan inaccuracies and deficiencies
Required qualifications
- A minimum of 5-10 years of mortgage underwriting/audit experience
- Bachelor's degree in business or a related field, or equivalent work experience
- Knowledge of Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, FHA, and VA lending requirements
- Ability to analyze and interpret mortgage and financial documentation
- Proficiency in advanced mathematical concepts related to loan calculations
