Quality Engineer

Job Summary

Developing and executing test plans, the full-time Quality Engineer will perform exploratory and automated testing for the Evolent Platform web user experience while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a remote work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, document, and execute test plans and test cases for assigned features while performing exploratory and automated testing
• Create and maintain automated tests using Playwright and execute automated test suites in CI/CD pipelines
• Identify, document, and track defects, analyzing test results and reporting on software quality status to stakeholders

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in software quality assurance or testing, including hands-on UI test automation
• Experience with Playwright or similar end-to-end automation tools, preferably using TypeScript or JavaScript
• Familiarity with API testing tools and REST APIs
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience working in an Agile development environment
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience
