Quality Engineer
Job Summary
Leveraging AI tools like Claude Code, the full-time Quality Engineer II will automate testing processes, build and maintain automated coverage across user flows and APIs, and collaborate with engineers to enhance product quality in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Utilize AI tools for generating and refining automated tests while maintaining E2E automation frameworks
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to plan test cases and coverage for new features
- Champion quality across the team by advocating for meaningful test coverage and standards early in development
Required qualifications
- Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools, particularly Claude Code
- Proficiency in TypeScript and JavaScript, along with browser automation experience using Playwright or similar frameworks
- Experience testing REST-based web applications and utilizing API testing tools like Swagger UI
- Ability to write and execute SQL queries for data verification and issue investigation
- 2-4 years of Quality Engineering experience with a strong understanding of software testing methodologies
