Quality Engineer (Automation & AI)
Job Summary
Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Quality Engineer (Automation & AI) will design risk-based test strategies, implement automated testing workflows using AI-assisted development, and enhance software quality and delivery speed within engineering squads.
Key responsibilities
- Design and convert risk-based test strategies into automated coverage using AI-assisted workflows
- Build and maintain automated test suites integrated within CI/CD pipelines to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify risks early and drive quality upstream in the development process
Required qualifications
- Strong software engineering fundamentals and experience with modern programming languages
- Proficiency in modern test automation frameworks, preferably Playwright
- Experience using AI coding agents for code generation, review, and maintenance
- Familiarity with integrating automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines using platforms like GitHub Actions
- Strong understanding of quality engineering principles, test strategy, and defect prevention
