Quality Engineering Manager
Job Summary
Leading a newly established quality engineering function, the full-time remote Quality Engineering Manager will assess current testing practices, build shared automation across products, and set group-wide QA standards while managing a team of QA engineers.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct assessments of existing QA practices and create a prioritized improvement plan for each product
- Establish shared automation for API and UI testing within CI, demonstrating effectiveness on one product before scaling
- Define and implement group-wide QA practices and metrics, ensuring quality input for all releases
Required qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in QA and quality engineering, including team management
- Hands-on experience with UI and API test automation frameworks and CI/CD tools
- Practical knowledge of AI-assisted testing tools and their applications
- Experience in quality metrics, release readiness, and risk-based testing
- Familiarity with testing regulated software, particularly in financial or payment domains
