Quality Improvement Specialist
Job Summary
Supporting the Quality Improvement department, the full-time Quality Improvement Specialist will manage HEDIS projects, assist with data management and reporting, and implement process improvements in a remote capacity for candidates residing in Arizona or Nevada.
Key responsibilities
- Manage the HEDIS project, including nurse assignments and vendor oversight for quality and timeliness
- Assist in data collection, entry, and report generation for various Quality Improvement initiatives
- Analyze data and prepare reports for committee discussions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements
Required qualifications
- Associate's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- 4+ years of data management experience in a health insurance organization
- Experience with quality initiatives, including HEDIS projects and NCQA standards
- Working knowledge of MS Office applications
- Experience in project management with accountability for report generation
