Job Summary

To bridge the gap between quantum computing research and scalable software development, the full-time Quantum Architect in Simulation will research and develop architectures for fault-tolerant photonic quantum computers, focusing on large-scale simulations for entangled state generation and error correction.

Key responsibilities

• Work closely with quantum architecture experts to implement and simulate new methods for generating entangled resource states
• Design and maintain robust software tools for simulating full-stack quantum architectures
• Run simulation analyses, manage data, and communicate results effectively across teams

Required qualifications

• Degree in Physics, Math, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering; postgraduate degree in quantum information or technology preferred
• 3+ years of collaborative software engineering experience, ideally in an R&D environment
• Knowledge of quantum information and linear optics is required; familiarity with related concepts is preferred
• Extensive experience with Python; experience with C++ is preferred
• Experience with collaborative software development tools and best practices is required
