To support federal government clients, the full-time Quantum Computing/Cryptography Engineer will utilize programming languages like Python, C++, and Java to implement cryptographic algorithms, advise on quantum resistant algorithm migration, and assess organizational cryptographic inventories, all while working remotely.

Key responsibilities
  • Implement and test cryptographic algorithms using various programming languages
  • Advise on quantum resistant algorithm migration plans and post-quantum cryptography implementation strategies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to communicate quantum risk and provide policy guidance aligned with NIST PQC standards
Required qualifications
  • 10+ years of IT experience, with at least 5 years in quantum computing and cryptography
  • Expertise in quantum mechanics, quantum algorithms, and quantum information theory
  • Experience with quantum programming languages and frameworks such as Qiskit and Cirq
  • Knowledge of existing cryptographic standards and frameworks, including NIST and ISO/IEC
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Computer Science or Cybersecurity
