Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Quantum Computing/Cryptography Engineer will implement and test cryptographic algorithms, advise on quantum resistant algorithm migration plans, and assess organizational cryptographic inventories while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities
  • Utilize programming languages such as Python, C++, and Java for cryptographic algorithm implementation and testing
  • Work on post-quantum cryptography (PQC) implementation strategies and advise on migration plans
  • Provide policy and guidance inputs for cryptographic modernization aligned with NIST PQC standards
Required qualifications
  • 10+ years of IT experience, including 5 years in quantum computing and cryptography
  • Expertise in quantum mechanics and quantum algorithms, such as Shor's and Grover's algorithms
  • Proficiency in quantum programming languages and frameworks like Qiskit and Microsoft Quantum Development Kit
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Cybersecurity or Computer Science
  • U.S. Citizenship and eligibility for a Public Trust security clearance
