Job Summary
Seeking a full-time remote Quantum Computing/Cryptography Engineer, the position will focus on implementing and testing cryptographic algorithms, advising on quantum resistant algorithm migration, and collaborating with teams to communicate quantum risks to leadership.
Key responsibilities
- Utilize programming languages such as Python, C++, and Java for cryptographic algorithm implementation and testing
- Advise on quantum resistant algorithm migration plans and post-quantum cryptography implementation strategies
- Assess cryptographic inventory and prioritize migration efforts in alignment with NIST PQC standards
Required qualifications
- 10+ years of IT experience, including 5 years in quantum computing and cryptography
- Expertise in quantum mechanics, quantum algorithms, and quantum information theory
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages and frameworks such as Qiskit and Cirq
- Familiarity with existing cryptographic standards and frameworks like NIST and ISO/IEC 19790
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
