Job Summary
Utilizing programming languages such as Python, C++, and Java, the full-time Quantum Computing/Cryptography Engineer will implement and test cryptographic algorithms, advise on quantum resistant algorithm migration, and assess organizational cryptographic inventories while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Implement and test cryptographic algorithms using various programming languages
- Advise on migration plans for quantum resistant algorithms and post-quantum cryptography implementation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to communicate quantum risks and provide policy guidance aligned with NIST PQC standards
Required qualifications
- 10+ years of IT experience, including 5 years in quantum computing and cryptography
- Expertise in quantum mechanics, quantum algorithms, and quantum information theory
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages and frameworks such as Qiskit and Cirq
- Experience with existing cryptographic standards and frameworks, including NIST and ISO/IEC
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science or Cybersecurity
