Job Summary
Seeking a full-time remote Quantum Computing/Cryptography Engineer, the successful candidate will provide specialized expertise in quantum computing and cryptographic technologies, assess their cybersecurity impacts, and develop implementation strategies for quantum-resistant algorithms while collaborating with technical teams and stakeholders.
Key responsibilities
- Assess quantum technologies and their potential cybersecurity and cryptographic impacts
- Evaluate cryptographic protocols and develop quantum-resistant algorithm migration plans
- Communicate quantum risks and migration recommendations to technical and nontechnical stakeholders
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 10 years of IT experience, including 5 years in Quantum Computing and Cryptography
- Ability to obtain and maintain required VA background investigation/suitability
- Expertise in quantum computing, cryptographic protocols, and PQC
- Experience developing quantum-resistant migration strategies
