Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Radiology Patient Access Specialist will manage patient scheduling, verify insurance information, and ensure a seamless patient experience in the radiology department.

Key responsibilities

• Manage patient scheduling and appointment confirmations for radiology services
• Verify insurance eligibility and obtain authorizations as needed
• Provide exceptional customer service to patients and healthcare providers

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in healthcare administration preferred
• Experience in a patient access or healthcare administrative role
• Familiarity with medical terminology and insurance processes
• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems
• Ability to work flexible hours, including day shifts
