Radiology Scheduler

Job Summary

To support patient scheduling needs in a remote environment, the full-time Radiology Scheduler will manage inbound and outbound patient interactions, schedule appointments across various diagnostic imaging services, and ensure compliance with HIPAA standards while providing compassionate customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Manage scheduling, rescheduling, and confirmation of patient appointments for diagnostic imaging services
• Respond to patient inquiries regarding appointment availability, preparation instructions, and insurance verification
• Document all patient interactions and appointment details accurately in the appropriate systems

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Minimum of six months of experience in a healthcare contact center or customer service environment, with experience in scheduling medical appointments preferred
• Experience working from home in a secure and distraction-free environment while adhering to HIPAA regulations
• Basic computer proficiency, including experience with Windows-based systems and CRM or scheduling platforms
• Ability to type a minimum of 40 words per minute
