Radiology Service Coordinator

Job Summary

To support efficient radiology operations, the PRN Radiology Service Coordinator will manage physician calls, prepare exams for interpretation, and provide technical support across radiology information systems while working remotely during weekends, nights, and afternoons.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as a liaison between radiologists, clinical teams, and administrative staff to enhance operational efficiency
• Manage physician calls and relay results while connecting clinical teams with radiologists as needed
• Prepare exams for interpretation by organizing prior exams and documentation, while monitoring workloads

Required qualifications

• Associate's degree in Healthcare, Administration, or a related field preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in healthcare operations
• Strong understanding of PACS, RIS, and voice recognition systems
• Ability to communicate effectively with both clinical and non-clinical audiences
• Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
