Radiology Service Coordinator

Job Summary

To support efficient radiology operations, the full-time Remote Radiology Service Coordinator will serve as a key liaison among radiologists, hospital clinical teams, and administrative staff, managing physician calls, preparing exams for interpretation, and providing technical support across radiology information systems.

Key responsibilities

• Manage physician calls, verify identities, and relay results while connecting clinical teams with radiologists
• Prepare exams for interpretation by attaching prior exams, notes, and supporting documentation, while monitoring worklists
• Provide technical and operational support across PACS, RIS, and voice recognition systems

Required qualifications

• Associate's degree in Healthcare, Administration, or a related field preferred
• 2+ years of healthcare operations experience
• Strong understanding of healthcare and radiology information systems, with proficiency in PACS and RIS
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
