Radiology Service Coordinator

Job Summary

To support efficient radiology operations, the part-time Radiology Service Coordinator will serve as a key liaison between radiologists, clinical teams, and administrative staff, managing physician calls, preparing exams for interpretation, and providing technical support across various radiology information systems in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage physician calls and verify identities while relaying results to clinical teams
• Prepare exams for interpretation by attaching necessary documentation and monitoring worklists
• Provide technical and operational support across PACS, RIS, and voice recognition systems

Required qualifications

• Associate's degree in Healthcare, Administration, or a related field preferred
• 2+ years of healthcare operations experience
• Strong understanding of healthcare and radiology information systems
• Proficiency in PACS, RIS, and voice recognition systems
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
