Ramps Lead

Job Summary

Owning the ramp infrastructure end to end, the full-time Ramps Lead will manage the architecture and delivery of Rise's on-ramp and off-ramp services, ensuring resilience and scalability while working remotely in the United States.

Key responsibilities

• Shape the ramps roadmap in collaboration with the Director of Product and translate it into a sequenced technical plan
• Build and maintain Node.js and TypeScript services for fiat and crypto settlement, partner APIs, and reconciliation
• Own monitoring and observability for ramp flows, ensuring timely detection and resolution of issues

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience, including 2 years in a leadership role
• Deep banking integration experience with direct work on account structures and compliance
• Strong production experience with Node.js and TypeScript, particularly in payment systems
• Proven track record in monitoring and on-call responsibilities for production payment systems
• Demonstrated daily use of AI tools in engineering workflows
